Ryan Brown served in the United States Marine Corps from 1997-2004. While enlisted, Ryan operated as an Infantry Squad Leader, Close Combat Instructor, Helicopter Rope Suspension Trainer (HRST Master), Combat Water Safety Swimmer (CWSS), and Battalion Remedial Fitness Instructor/Exercise Program Designer. During his enlistment, Ryan was involved in Operation STABILISE East Timor, Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom. He was honorably discharged from active duty in 2004 with the rank of Sergeant and went on to earn his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications from Rowan University.
With over 10 years of fitness training experience, Ryan is a Certified Personal Fitness Trainer (AAAI/ISMA), a professional member of The National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) and is currently pursuing his Tactical Strength and Conditioning-Facilitator (TSAC-F) credentials.
During his off time, Ryan competes in 5/10Ks, Mud Runs, and Marathons. He also enjoys relaxing with his wife Gina and young daughter, Gracie Leigh.
